The five-year Central Europe Civic Engagement Program (CECEP) supports citizen engagement in public affairs through advocacy on issues of citizen concern, principally at the local level. Using evidence gathering and collective action, civic coalitions and representative deliberative and other participatory processes supported through the program will engage policymakers on citizen priorities and thereby foster inclusiveness in public affairs.
The CECEP is implemented through a partnership between the National Democratic Institute (NDI), DemNet in Hungary, and the Institute of Public Affairs (IPA) in Poland.
