Call for proposals in the EEA/Norwegian NGO Fund announced

On 12th February 2013 the second NGO Fund of the EEA/Norway Grants was officially launched at a grand opening event. This year, in the first round the calls will support micro and macro projects in various thematic areas as well as internships in the Donor States.

EEA/Norway Grants NGO Fund

The European Economic Area / Norwegian Financial Mechanism NGO Fund support the actions of 240 NGOs in Hungary between 2008-2011 in three grant rounds totalling of 6.4 million EUR. DemNet administers the Civil Liberties & Capacity-Building thematic area.

Structural Funds Monitoring

In two components of the EU Structural Funds' Human Resorces Development Operational Programme (HEFOP 2.3.1 and 2.3.2) DemNet provided monitoring services to the implementing agency between 2005-08, monitoring 45 granted NGOs.

DemNet administered a grant programme through which the European Commission provided 40 Hungarian NGOs with 2,5 million EUR grant in two rounds in 2007-09 for the implementation of anti-discrimination law and raising public awareness.

Phare ACCESS programmes

Between 2003 and 2007 the European Commission supported institutinal capacity-building and services development of more than 130 NGOs in the projects types and many thematic fields. DemNet administred the Phare ACCESS 2001, 2002 and 2003 programmes.
