The Unite-IT network established the Digital Inclusion Award in 2014 as the annual recognition to organisations and professionals who work in the field of digital inclusion and who create, often with very small resources, innovative ways to bring digital opportunities and skills to people in their communities. Ms. Gordana Stankov Stojilovic, from International Aid Network (IAN, Serbia) hosted the ceremony, while four Board members of Telecentre Europe were invited to present and hand the awards to the winners. Call for resources, good practices and policies in the field of digital inclusion

While LEARNING adds excitement and meaning, SHARING what you know with your world adds purpose to what we all refer to as LIFE.

To encourage learning through sharing, the Unite-IT network has opened this year's call for collection of RESOURCES (e.g. learning materials, handbooks, training curricula), GOOD PRACTICES and/or national or regional POLICIES in the field of digital inclusion.

The invitation is open for individuals and organizations that are UniteIT community members. Submission is done through the UniteIT portal and entries are accepted until 21 August 2015.

E-Participation is citizens' participation in policies and policy-making through the help of ICT tools – e.g. signing an online petition for saving a forest or commenting on your mayor's proposal to renovate a school.

Many people don't know that these online tools exist. We want to raise awareness among European citizens that the EU is not something that happens only in Brussels, but is actually just a click away!
